Ready-to-use Burkholderia strains for USP testing – available now!
As of December 2019 the USP <60> states all non-sterile products should be tested for Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc). Bcc is generally considered to be an objectionable organism in aqueous non-sterile drug products and Bcc contamination is regularly cited in US-FDA 483 observations, Warning Letters and recall notices.
All recommended Burkholderia control strains for growth promotion testing and suitability testing are now available in easy-to-use products.
